17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations: Design and Verification of Electrical Installations
A 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations (aka BS7671) is being
published in January 2008 and will come into force in June. While the
Wiring Regs are amended every few years, a completely new edition is
much less frequent – the 16th edition was first published in 1991. As
the Wiring Regs are a long and complicated publication, there will be a
huge demand for books explaining what the requirements mean for actual
working practice.
This popular guide has been brought fully up-to-date with the new Regs.
It provides an understanding of basic design criteria and calculations,
along with current inspection and testing requirements in electrical
installation. How to meet the requirements of the IEE Wiring
Regulations is explained in plain English and with numerous examples.
The book fully covers the new City & Guilds 2392-30 syllabus and is
an affordable refresher and revision guide for the thousands of
students who take this qualification annually.
